Navarre Beach, FL

This last weekend we set out for the gulf coast for some fun in the sun. We left late Thursday afternoon, I had gotten an oil change at Walmart. I noticed oil leaking from the car, and Kev thought they just spilt a whole mess of oil, so we left. We made to Opelika, AL and had no oil in the car, we put some oil in and made it to the nearest Walmart, and had our car fixed. I am grateful to the number of Walmarts out there, but I will no longer get any car services at Walmart. We made to the beach and had so much fun.

We went back to the beach in the evening for shell hunting.
Schools of Manta Rays were swimming around and I touched one, there were so many.
Orla absolutely loved the water, and the beach, she says the water tastes spicy.
She spent most of her time on the beach being a hatching sea turtle.
We did find some good shells, I post those next. Enjoy!

  1. Oh, that's wonderful! I'm glad you got away and the beach looks so clean and refreshing. What a perfect way to spend family time together. (I miss my daughter being little.)Thanks for sharing, Gwen, and have a great week 🙂
