Gifts Goods from Summer Crochet

Here is the afghan I had been working on this summer, it went to the beach,  and up north to see family, I finally finished it along with this cute little elephant.  Over the holiday weekend, I happily gave my cousin and her baby boy their gifts which they loved.
The elephant is a free pattern from Shawna Borst.  It is well written pattern very concise and you can find it here.  I made this one with Vickie Howell’s Cottonish by Bernat.  For the afghan, I used Bernat Softee Baby, in color Grey Marl.
Enjoy!

I live with my family in Neenah, WI. My day job is working at our local library. I spend time everyday exploring the art of crochet. Everyday life inspires my work from family to nature.
