Embroidery

Yesterday, I received an email from Kelly Fletcher, as I am on her emailing list.  She is and embroidery artist and has lovely designs all of which you can find in her shop on etsy or on craftsy.  She also has a kit available at Barnes & Noble.

So last night I found myself buying this irresistible kit….

I have dabbled in embroidery a bit, teaching Orla and a few friends basic stitches.   I have tried other crafts knitting, spinning, and weaving but embroidery is the only one I have started and finished projects.  I think what draws me into embroidery most is the variety of colors and small projects.  I can start a design like the ones included in the kit and finish it in an evening.

So let me show you what is inside….

your fabric, thread, needles and stitch book….
then a hoop and iron-on transfers.
I wonder, what design shall I do first?
Enjoy!
