Beaded Gerbera -tip for a seamless look

After finishing a big project like the Dogwood Scarf, I like to reward myself with quick small projects.  This week I made two brooches and this is one of them, a Gerbera Daisy Brooch.

It is a pattern from Lacy Crochet…
I decided to make it beaded, strung on my beads and set to work.
This is how my center looked after I finished it…
The arrow is pointing to my joins for each round in an effort to make it look seamless…
Yeah,  I could have crocheted it without a seam but I wanted to practice sewing beads on to try something new for me.
So I found a bead needle and sewed on beads to cover my joins…
and this was the result….
Then I blocked the petals…
 and finished it up.
Enjoy!
