Tie-dye & Butterfly

Orla and I got a tie-dye kit months ago and finally yesterday we gathered all our whites and set to work.  We let our items saturate overnight and here is the result…

it was so much fun.  I am ready to do it again.
Then for the rest of the day, I worked on this Irish Crochet Butterfly…
from a vintage, antique pattern.  The head and body were pretty easy to figure out.  The wings were a bit more difficult, so many chains and working into spaces.  Then trying to do the same thing on the opposite side, it looks pretty good.
Enjoy!
