Navy Blue Lace

When people ask me how long did that take you to make?  My first thought was, hmm not quite sure,  then I would have to think, how long did it take.

Now I am in the habit of writing down start and finish dates…

For instance, I started the Sweet Clara top last Saturday, worked on it for 2-3 hours each night, and finished it Tuesday.  It is a beautiful pattern, well written with diagrams, and works up quickly.
I made my foundation chain, and worked the first row, then joined,  eliminating the risk of twisting the chain…
Then you join the foundation chain as a part of weaving in ends.
Since it is a top down design, you can try it on as you are working, and make any necessary modifications. To create a better fit for myself..

I added an extra round of shells before working the underarm.
Then, I continued working until my yarn was gone…
Voila!
