Today is Orla’s first day of spring break, 2017. We got in the car….
and off we went to the Kintting Room in Fond du Lac. It is an easy 35 minutes from our house. It is a wonderful shop. It is very inviting with tables to sit and try out yarns and browse patterns. They have a vast variety of yarns from Madelinetosh, Malabrigo, Blue Skies, to Tahki Cotton Classic, Plymouth Encore, Universal Yarns, Berocco and so many more.
They even have a rainbow selection of Perle #8 cotton of which I bought 3 and some other yarn for a design idea…..
So if you are driving through on HWY 41, you will have to stop for some stitching at the Knitting Room on Main St. Also, if you are weaver, spinner or a fan of Brown Sheep yarns, the Woolgathers across the street will be your second stop.
Enjoy!
