Have you ever…

browsed the Crochet Books at your local library! Occasionally I will search my library catalog to see the available Crochet books. This is one of the latest new to me books…

Out of the 1000 stitches, 700 are Knit and 300 are Crochet! It is a fabulous Crochet resource!

I have always loved going to the library. Growing up in a small town, we would ride our bikes to the library all the time. When as an adult I relearned to Crochet, I started using the library as a source to explore and cultivate my love for this craft. There are so many techniques in Crochet to explore and the library is a great resource. You can look at books and decide whether to add to your collection. I started buy books from library sales or buy used library books from Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

Former library book, some of the contributors have books of their own. Judith Copeland created Modular Crochet.

As my I developed my yarn and hook collection, I also created a book and magazine collection.

Books I have collected over the last 20 years.

I love all my books but have reached my storage capacity. The exception being stitch dictionaries there is always that one stitch waiting to be turned into something beautiful.

See what your library has to offer and explore!

Enjoy!

I live with my family in Neenah, WI. My day job is working at our local library. I spend time everyday exploring the art of crochet. Everyday life inspires my work from family to nature.
